The online Respect in Sport Activity Leaders/Coach Program educates youth leaders, coaches, officials and participants (14 years and up) to recognize, understand and respond to issues of bullying, abuse, harassment and discrimination. It may be the single most important training to assist you in creating a safe, healthy and respectful environment for all participants. All active, registered coaches and activity leaders within Sask Sport’s provincial sport membership are required to complete the program. For more information or to complete yours, visit https://www.sasksport.ca/programs-education/respect-in-sport/access-training/
QTMBA encourages our coaches to further their knowledge and skills with various coaching clinics, courses or opportunities and are willing to help cover some of the registration costs. Please seek out coaching clinic opportunities through Baseball Sask or Softball SK and speak to our executive members for further details.
All player contact information should be available to you on the RAMP app, this website or through the documents shared announcing your team for this season.
Carpooling: We have many families who will have their players heading in various different directions. We depend on our wonderful Quad Town community of coaches/parents to offer rides to those players who may require.
QTMBA will provide you with the following contact information for you season.
All of the individual team schedules will be available or input through the RAMP App, You can also visit the master schedule on the website.
We encourage our teams to find and register for tournaments for their age category and division if their team desires. Be sure to communicate with your team and share additional team fee costs, which are not included in registration fees.
If a team(s) wish to host their own tournament, they are welcome to do so. Please speak with an QTMBA executive member to guide you in communication with who to contact to arrange with our various diamond facilities.
If an individual team or a combined team from any division wishes to partake in provincials for their age category and division, QTMBA encourages you to register on your own ensuring all requirements are met for registering, certification, roster, etc. We will gladly assist and help guide you through this process if you require.
Ensure that your players have proper equipment and ensure all personal and team equipment is labeled.
We ask that all coaches diligently care for the equipment that has been entrusted to you and your team for the season. Equipment is a large expenditure and the onus is on all of us who use it to care for it properly and ensure that it is all returned at the end of the year. Any damaged, broken or missing equipment should be reported to a QuadTown Executive immediately.
All teams will wear their supplied QTMBA jersey for all league games, tournaments, playoffs, and provincials. Uniforms are to be tracked and accounted for by the team manager, cared for by the individual and returned at the end of the season. If a uniform is not returned, it must be reported to QTMBA as there will be a replacement cost charged to the individual family for replacement. Please be sure to fill out the Jersey Form and provide to QTMBA after jersey allocations and again at the end of the season accompanying all Team Jersey returns.
For all equipment needs, please contact Kyle Lockert.
QTMBA utilizes diamond spaces in the communities of Vibank, Odessa and Sedley. Each community has its own arrangements with QTMBA over the use of these facilities.
Diamond Maps and Pictures can be found here, please share with your teams and your opposing teams, if necessary.
For practices and games, teams are responsible for setting up their own bases, marking the lines for games (if necessary for your age division), and unlocking bathroom facilities (if applicable). Please ensure that all equipment is cared for and all equipment is properly returned and organized to each specific community’s storage facility. If you are the last team leaving the diamonds for the evening, it is the Coaches OR Managers responsibility to ensure bathrooms and facility doors are all locked.
QTMBA has a 24hr Policy. Please familiarize yourself with this policy, as well as be sure to familiarize your team with this policy.
